Why toasters?

I'm a geek for small kitchen appliances. If I were to throw out all kitchen appliances, this would definitely be one of the last to go! Is there anything more tempting than the smell of just browned toast?

I've been studying the different styles of toasters and I've decided that I think the single wide slot toasters with a plastic finish are the best. They stay cool to the touch and allow for even heating/toasting. The single wide slot is big enough for a bagel or two slices of bread. I like the flexibility of it, oh and it definitely has to have a crumb tray! I can't wait to get extra cash so I can get one of these type some day!
